I really need to find out when the 64 will be ready. I am getting ready to start a new program at work using the -16 as the platform. I am hoping that it works, but if it does not, I need to get a heads up on when the -64 will be ready to go. I hope that I will not need it...but the way everything in this department has gone so far....etc.....

There is no more 64-core chips and given the fab changed discontinued the process in which it was made, it would take new masks to produce new chips. And either :
- Adapteva doesn't have money to make new masks and there won't be 64 core chips
- Adapteva has the money to make new masks and then they'll probably use it to make their next gen chip rather than the G4 -> there won't be a 64 core chips either but a newer one.

So in both cases ... no 64 cores.

Exception: Somebody puts down a few million dollars to get the 64-core chips produced. I guess that would do it, too.

Well that'd be dumb ... if you have the money, might as well do the next version ...
