Setting up an old pogoplug as an NFS server for the cluster

I had a pogoplug collecting dust and decided to try and repurpose it as a cheap NFS server for my cluster.

So far I have the nfs server installed on it and running, now to work on getting the parallellas in the cluster mounting the NFS filesystem.

You can still pick up these version 4 pogoplugs off eBay new in the box for around $20.

I put a 1 TB drive in mine.

Theis has been on the back burner for a while, got back on it today.

I do have one of the parallellas mounting the NFS filesystem off the pogoplug, but it only wants to mount it as a read only filesystem, no matter what I try.

pogoplug is a strange beast, will see if I can get around this problem somehow.

Finally got it sorted out.

The drive was formatted as NTFS, I couldn't get ntfs-3g package working with it, so bit the bullet and reformated as an EXT3 filesystem.
