PAL - Parallel Architecture Library

Just watched a Youtube on todays presentation on the future of Parallella and got the following questions

1) Where can one get more details of the PAL Library? i.e. required functions
2) If I understood things correctly the library does not just apply to Epiphany and could also be implemented for GPU's
3) Would be interested to see an initiative with the Raspberry Pi foundation to see them contribute to the Library for the Pi's GPU
