I'm a bit worried seing the Adapteva team site being edited. Hopefully everything is going well and Parallella continues to steam forward.

May you should communicate your great board more as a mini-computer for everyone's daily Linux demands. Besides potential scientific uses, a "fair-priced yet more powerful Raspberry" could make the masses interested in your Parallella16.

currently parallella is less powerful than raspberry in practical use. raspberry has 4 cores while parallella only uses 2! and ram-size is the same, usb support is better on raspberry, I think even the video-hardware is better on raspberry. the only advantage parallella has in regards of mini-pc over raspberry is a bright future in case someone actually writes drivers for using epiphany for various tasks. you do that and maybe release a whole OS with that stuff (or a separate arch branch of an existing OS) and adapteva will be able to advertise that way. till then parallella is just a development board, a demo-board for their epiphany chip. claiming otherwise would be false advertisement and maybe break some laws in some countries for that...
