Virtual Machines

Is it possible to run virtual machines on Parallella.

If it is possible could I run a great many (say more than 20)? Does the small amount of RAM affect how many machines? I cant get more than three to run on a machine with 4GB though i can get maybe 10 with a quad core with 8GB.

Would it be possible to use PelicanHPC or something similar to cluster with a few other PCs I have?

The ARM cores on the Parallella are ARM cores. They will not be efficient to run a PC (that is, x86) virtual machine. Then, you write that you can run about 3 machines in 4 GB of RAM, and about 10 machines in 8 GB of RAM. The Parallella has 1 GB of RAM.

Answer the question yourself.
