Is do-release-upgrade to 14.04 advised

Current release installed is as shown. I want to know if the upgrade delivers anything that would cause a problem with the Linaro 14.01 install.

The only thing I can think of is that you may need to rebuild the SDKs, but I haven't tried this myself and so I cannot say for certain. In any case, it's simple enough to backup your SD card using dd.

Hi Tony,

If you do rebuild the Epiphany SDK from git then you'll need to build the Parallella kernel from the bcxcube_epiphany_driver branch of the parallella-linux-adi repository. This branch contains the Epiphany driver which is required for the latest SDK sources.

I started over with a new 14.04 microSD and avoided the issue altogether.
