Availability for non-kickstarter backers?

The FAQs mention an offer for those who missed pledging on the project, TBA "after December 1st". Is that still the plan?

Pre Ordering Parallella:

We have received LOTS of questions about pre-ordering Parallella boards and we are sad to report that we can't offer any more boards for now. There is still too much uncertainty around the final cost of the Parallella board to offer it up to general sale. We hope to have all the cost issues resolved soon!

I am also very interested to know if these boards will be made available to those of us who learned about the Parallella project after the Kickstarted pledge ended. If so, please let us know when.

Perhaps the staff should have a small newsletter signup for non-kickstarter backers that wish to receive information as soon as it comes.

Maybe you do kickstarter again for the remaining of the original stretch goal to give others a second chance. I would prefer getting the 64 core instead of the 2x16 core... Ok, you probably will not get the remaining 2.1m, but just a thought...

I agree with the previous comment, why not open a new kick starter project for the 64 cores. If you do not get the money nothing major is lost but imagine if you would...

I wouldn't mind a second kickstarter for a 64-core version, but let's wait until they've got the 16-core board out first, folks.
