multiple monitors & multiple oses

i want to use more than one os on parallella,
no virtualization but native environment.

it would be gr8 if each core has it's own power.

Well you are in luck. With the Zynq you can run one OS on one core and another OS (e.g. a RTOS) on the other

Just to be clear @8l the above discussion is about running different OSs on the two ARM cores in the Zynq chip. It is not currently possible to run an OS on the 16 cores in the Epiphany chip. (Though I believe someone is working on a special small one, you won't be able to run any OS of your choosing.)

An individual Parallella card only has one HDMI output (and no graphics card) so connecting more than one monitor might need some kind of add on and possibly extending the Zynq programming.

like i said, this is just request, i don't think current version of parallella will be fixed forever.
software or hardware, it will be evolution.
