Can I use Parallella as a Server?

Hello,
Once I heard about the 16 core CPU I knew I wanted to use Computing Power for a Server. I'm currently running my own server program that requires loads of Computing Power and I wanted to know if I could use Parallella as a server. If I can that would be great since its Cheap, Easy to setup, Amazing Power and low wattage!

Its a WebSockets chat server, written in node.js (Will that be compatible). It needs a better processor so it can run the checks I do over each WS message (To see what type of message is sent and where I should route it to) and then relay it in the correct way, faster.
