Hello:
I am toying with an idea of designing an FPGA board for our in-house use. Since we are a commercial company, in-house means this will become a product. I am wondering what is the policy towards this. The Creative Commons license seems to prevent commercial use, but Parallella itself is a commercial product, so what is the intent?
Specifically, I am toying with an idea to design a platform to run a non commercial operating system that may be well suited to our applications. We plan to use Parallela in the future, but we also need something simpler for low end applications. I am assuming that it is OK to put the Parallella board "as is" into a commercial product. (Is it? Please tell me, if not.) How about a simpler board that would be pin-compatible? This is more or less what I have in mind.
Please advise -- Wojtek
