I have moved this questaionable file into the "old" directory. Please DO NOT use it and instead follow the SD card creation recipe shown at:
http://www.parallella.org/create-sdcardCheers,
Andreas

Yes, the board boots fine and runs the demos. I'm using a 16 GB Sandisk Ultra Class 10 Card and power the board with a 5V/2.5A power supply from an old D-Link Router. The Zynq and the Epiphany chips are getting quite hot even in idle mode (around 70°C), but setting a fan from an old CPU Cooler next to the board pulled the temperature down to 40°C within a minute. I've tried the serial console with an FTDI TTL-serial adapter and OpenSSH. HDMI testing in the next days.
