Pixymon unstable

I'm having the 7Z010 board.

In Linaro, I launched a terminal, build & execute Pixymon. I could launch it but the delay between frames seems to accumulates quickly & to a point (est < 5 min), it crashed & relaunch itself.
I've tried renice to -20 but doesn't help. Has anyone tried it & ran it successfully?

I basically tightVNC to my board.

Please specify image version. Sounds like the thermal daemon might be kicking. How are you cooling the board.

Tried on another Parallella-1 board. Same result. I have a total of 4 units.

Don't know pixymon...are there issues with other programs? Have you checked for memory leaks?

yes, you're right! Using top, I could see that the %MEM for pixymon keeps increasing till it crashed. Let me check/debug this app.

There is no gpu...but this does not exain the memory leak.
Workaround might be to reduce resolution of display or something similar, if that level of control exists for pixymon.
