ways to reset the epiphany core

Postby ed2k » Wed Feb 06, 2013 5:56 am

I am writing some very basic communication program through shared DRAM. such as host read/write, core write/read.
some how the core will lock up, that means even I ctrl-C quit and re-run the demo come with the SDK, no response from core.
the only way I can do is power cycle.
Is there API that I can force just the epiphancy reset?

Thanks,
ed2k

@ed2k - the current release of teh esdk (4.13.01.04) contains the core reset API, as described in the "Programming the Zynq Based System (v2.1)" document ( ftp://ftp.parallella.org/esdk/programmi ... system.pdf ).

Note that you can reset the cores explicitly, or when using the e_load() API, while loading the image on the chip.
