For clarification, at present ...
The COPRTHR SDK will provide a platform implementation (libcoprthr-e) with the Epiphany co-processor as a compute device.
The COPRTHR SDK does provide OpenCL support for ARM via a different platform implementation (libcoprthr).
By the time the majority of the parallella boards ship, it is almost certain that a platform with Epiphany + ARM will be available.
Answer to 1b) at the beginning of this thread ... if you have multiple boards connected over a network, a new feature in the COPRTHR SDK should allow them to be seen as a single platform via the STDCL API that leverages OpenCL. Using raw OpenCL the networked devices will be accessible via CLRPC but appear as separate platforms in the loader.
