The big picture is that we couldn't release the new FPGA code and bitstreams until the driver, libraries, and support structure was updated and tested too. This has taken some time but is nearly ready. Running tests on multiple boards for many hours at a time to make sure everything is stable. I know this has been taking a long time but it should be worth the wait.

I've just tried this too and got stuck in the same way as others have.
I don't care about a clever MMU lookup table for the Epiphany, I just want a simple way of accessing a custom block on the FPGA!
Andreas or Fred, could you give us a clue what we're all missing when setting up a simple hard coded mapping into memory that addresses a slave off M_AXI_GP0?
