I am trying to get the co-ordinates of the neighboring core's using e_core_id. For some core's e.g(0,0) it is giving proper value for row's and columns but for some cores it is returning a garbage value. Have attached snapshot of tweaked hello world program to print the row and column of the core's.
plz find me a solution

If I understand correctly, then your n_row and n_col variables are just pointers, which do not point to any actual valid address (i.e., the pointers are not initialized).

You should declare the two variables as integers (not pointers) and use the "&" operator at the call to e_neighbor_id(), or, at least assign a valid address to the pointers before using them (like you did with the "a" buffer).
