Parallella Community

At last I got my Parallella, preorder #3200. Thank you very much.
First thing, downloaded as described, on a Linux Mint 16, and unpacked.
Then every thing on a 32Gbyte sdcard. Find a hdmi cable and a powersupply. Power on and a finger on the heatsink, and nothing happen. Well after some thought, it was maybe an idea to follow the text, and change the name of

parallella_e16_hdmi_gpiose_7010.bit.bin, to parallella.bit.bin.

Then power on again, and this time I got a screen, where I have to lock in. Power off, find a usb cable and a keyboard and a blower.
Power on again and here I am writting on a Parallella.

Once again thank you very much.

I still seem to have the same problem with USB on this build (Parallella Ubuntu 14.04 release). It just does not work even having implemented the ECO. I would be keen to hear if anyone else is having the same problem still.

As a follow up to my previous problems booting my Parallella, using shodruck's method of rebuilding the device tree to disable serial console was what it took.

Regarding firefox please download qupzilla browser it works without crashing. I am using linero.

Well I was only preparing my sd card on a stationary Linux Mint 16 installation. It is still Ubuntu 14.04, on my Parallella.

Is posible install miner program (cpuminer) with parallella board, for mining cryptos "ONLY CPU" like BYTECOIN, MONERO, QUARKCOIN, etc ?
