Would it be possible to overclock?

i know its kinda crazy, but if you put a cooler on it could you overclock it? and if so, how much?
Any disadvantages, warranties, risks?

I would love to see someone try. Our goal is for users to be able to modify the voltage and frequency of the Epiphany device on the Parallella at will through software. A liquid cooled Parallella board would be awesome!

From personal experience I know that many modern silicon devices can take a licking and keep on ticking (at least for a while...) If you are willing to to live with a shortened device operating life time, you may be able to exceed the conditions of the device by at least 10%, but there is no telling how much that will shorten the life span. Increasing the frequency above the recommended range will not cause damage, but it may cause the device to operate incorrectly. Obviously any warranty is void if you exceed the maximum operating voltage of any of the devices on the board, so those kinds of experiments should be "for fun only". :D
