I know that locks are killers but for this application I don't see any other way to do the implementation. I use reduction algorithms as much as I can but in this case sadly it is not possible. By the way, I think we should open a discussion to find out what kind of reduction suits better the Epiphany architecture (I don't if there is a topic though).

Well, then I will put on hold this topic until the new version is ready.
