Compiling epiphany program

hi
i'm very new with dealing with parallella and i wanna ask
if i write a host and target programs like hello_world and ehello_world in text editor like gedit
how can i compile these 2 codes
please give me the commands to use with gcc and e-gcc to compile these 2 programs

Take a look at the example projects in epiphany-examples, for example apps\hello-world is a good one to see the basics.

There is a build.sh script there that will compile the epiphany side and ARM host side of the program with e-gcc and gcc, and a run.sh that will run the built binary, setting up the right environment variables to make it work.

It's best to start by copying one of these examples and modifying the main function on the epiphany side. Good luck :)
