libe-hal.so: file not recognized

Postby DamdSJ » Mon Aug 18, 2014 12:48 pm

Hello,
I received recently the parallella board and I'm trying to try to compile and run some examples.

I followed the instructions in github (https://github.com/adapteva/epiphany-sdk/wiki), and compile the SDK without any problem.
Now I'm trying to compile some simple examples (https://github.com/adapteva/epiphany-examples) but I get an error :

.../epiphany-examples/test/e-test$ ./build.sh
.../epiphany-sdk/esdk.5.13.09.10/tools/host/lib/libe-hal.so: file not recognized: File format not recognized
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status

Did I miss something ?

I solved this problem by recompiling the libraries (it wasn't cross-compiled when I executed the different scripts) and replacing the .so which were compiled with gcc.
