Functional GPIO breakout / daughter-board

Hello,

I am writing this as I am really out of time and out of options, so please excuse my direct approach.

I am currently doing a brain-computer-interface project with two other colleagues for our diploma project at the university.
We have just received the Parallella board, we have the EEG sensor but no way to interface to the GPIO pins.

Does anyone have a solution ready for a daughter-board or a breakout-board for the GPIO pins, something finished and open-source that we can just download the schematics and send them to a fab service to be built? It would save us a lot of time and effort.
I ordered some sample connectors from Samtec in the hopes that I could build a daughter-card and solder it myself.

The porcupine board is open source and up on the parallella github.
We hope to have it up for sale with distributor shortly...how pressed are you for time?
